鹰潭市森林防火指挥部举办了全市乡（镇、场）森林防火指挥长训练班，各乡（镇、街办、国有林场）森林防火指挥长、县（市、区）林业局分担森林防火的副局长、防火办专职副主任、专业森林消防队队长共70多人参加了训练。

这次训练体系地学习了《森林火灾的补救与指挥》、《森林火灾典型事例剖析》、《森林防火有关法规》以及《森林火灾安全避险常识》，经过训练提高了城镇森林防火指挥长对森林防火作业的知道，增强了森林防火常识和扑火技术，提高了组织指挥才能和科学决策水平。
